Rebuilding our "camp" on the shores of Lake Champlain was a retirement dream of ours, as well as one of the largest challenges of our lives. We had heard every horror story of a project such as ours.
After a due diligence bidding and interview process, we hired Workhorse Construction. Joe Peden exceeded our expectations...he is a man of integrity; quality workmanship; gentleness and PATIENCE.
We knew what we wanted for design and interior materials....we are believers of reuse, repurpose, and recycle. We strove to incorporate meaningful building materials from the old camp into the new. Joe worked with us on every idea and implemented our many requests. He worked very hard at "getting it right".
Our shoreline refuge has been transformed from a "camp" to a "lake house". As we told Joe, we wake up everyday feeling as though we are staying in a high end resort on a beautiful lake.......what could be a better compliment to Joe and his craftsmanship!
